Anica Steel provides Blanchard grinding at its Baie-D’Urfé facility. For your quotation, specify the material, starting and finished dimensions, faces to be ground and drawing requirements.
Information to include
- Material and condition
- State the grade or alloy and any known condition, including previous heat treatment. Specify whether you will supply the part or want the material included in the request.
- Starting and finished dimensions
- Provide starting length, width and thickness, then the required finished dimensions and their units. Identify the faces to be ground on the drawing.
- Drawing requirements
- Attach the drawing and state any required tolerances, including thickness, flatness, parallelism and surface finish where specified. These requirements must be confirmed for the particular part.
- Quantity and timing
- State the number of parts and requested date. List parts with different dimensions or requirements separately.
